Technorati Blog Claiming is Fixed

We’ve made some long overdue changes and improvements to blog claiming.

The rebuild is complete and blog claiming is up and running again on Technorati.com. Why did we put you all through this? Unfortunately, we had to: the old blog claim system was built on the search technology that we rebuilt in 2009. So, a full rebuild of blog claming became necessary as well.

During the rebuilding, we know you experienced major delays in the processing of your blog claims. We're sorry we were not able to respond to each of you personally. None of your claims were lost during the rebuilding process and we are working through the backlog now. We’re hearing from many of you on Get Satisfaction that this is improving and your claims are being processed.

We hope you find the new claim process is smoother and easier to understand. As one final defense against spam blogs, we have also implemented a manual review. Going forward, you may see that your claims take a couple of days to process, rather than minutes this took pre-rebuild.
